The Anambra State House of Assembly has passed a bill for a law to amend the Anambra State Security trust Fund 2010 and for other connected purposes.
The bill amended the Anambra State Security Trust Fund Law 2010 by adding representatives of relevant security agencies such as Nigeria Prisons Service, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Navy, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Nigeria Immigration Service, State Vigilantee Supervising Committees as Members Board of Security Trust Fund.
Also at plenary, a bill for a law to provide for the regulation, promotion and control of all gaming activities, establishment of gaming Board and other related matters was passed by the House.
Similarly, a bill for a law to establish the Anambra State Revenue Court with powers to entertain all revenue matters in the state and to provide for related matters was also passed.
Later, the House adjourned till Tuesday next week.
