Select friends and colleagues took out time to appreciate and celebrate Governor Willie Obiano’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. James Eze whose book, ‘Dispossessed’ won the Association of Nigerian Authors poetry prize in far away Ilorin, last Friday.

The event tagged an evening with James Ngwu Eze, Winner of the 2020 Association of Nigerian Authors Poetry Prize was held in Awka.

Present at the evening event were Professor Emmanuel Sule, Mr. Odili Ujubuoñu, MD/CEO ABS, Chief Uche Nworah, Deputy Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Emeka Ozumba, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Obiano, Mr Bob Manuel Udokwu and a host of others comprising mainly of the Governor’s Media Team.

Guests took turns to eulogize Mr Eze’s creativity after which some read excerpts from the book.

Performance by Diva’s Tales who sang one of the poem titled Rainbow in ‘Dispossessed’ entertained guests.

‘Dispossessed’, stratified into three namely; ‘innocence’, ‘transgression’, and ‘atonement’ is a debut piece by James Eze, which was launched over a year ago, has attracted national and international recognitions in such a short time.
