Veteran Hollywood Actor, Harrison Ford was yesterday injured after crash-landing a small plane on a golf course in California.
A tweet by his Son, Ben Ford said his father was injured but ok. “At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man,” he tweeted .
According to Los Angeles Fire Department Assistant Chief Patrick Butler, who wouldn’t identify Ford as the patient, the pilot suffered moderate trauma and was “alert and conscious” when he was taken to the hospital.
He said the pilot, the only person on board, was in fair to moderate condition.
The 72-year-old actor was in a two-seat, single-engine 1942 military trainer that went down on Penmar Golf Course near Santa Monica Airport.
