The Director, Villa Gardens Resorts, Akpaka GRA, Onitsha, Mr Anthony Mbanusi, says the Miss Anambra pageantry is a veritable ground for the grooming of future superstars, celebrities and legends who would add to the growth of the economy.
Mr Mbanusi stated this while addressing the 21 contestants of the Miss Anambra 2015 pageantry who paid him a courtesy visit yesterday at the hotel.
He called on Ndi Anambra at home and in the diaspora to join hands in building the state as according to him, the state government has done its part by providing a safe atmosphere for businesses to thrive.
He also commended the MD/CEO ABS, Mr Uche Nworah, for his outstanding leadership skills and initiatives which has re positioned the station making it the heart beat of the East.
He also called on other hotel owners to collaborate in developingĀ the creative industry, which he said would boost the state’s IGR significantly.
In his response, Mr Nworah, said the event is to motivate girls in and around the state to be entrepreneurial adding that the pageantry gives them a platform to achieve their dreams in life.
commended them for their unflinching supports, noting that the pageantry would complement the roles of the hospitality industries in the state.
He said their support is an encouragement to the contestants who have been working hard on camp since Sunday.
