The Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Barrister Rita Maduagwu, has called on the citizenry to always patronize made in Anambra products to boost the state revenue.
The Speaker made the call when she led members of the House committee on industry, Trade and Commerce on a visit to some industries in Nnewi.
The Speaker and the Committee visited Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, where she expressed satisfaction with the quality of Automobile, being manufactured by the company and assured that the state government would assist in addressing some of the challenges hindering the progress of the company.
She called on Industrialists in the state to pay their tax promptly to enable the government serve them better.
Barrister Maduagwu explained that the essence of the visit was to identify some of their problems and proffer solutions to such.
The Committee also visited Tummy-Tummy Industries Limited, Ngoo Bross Baby Diapers production company, Chikason Group, Cutix Plc where their Chief Executive Officers took them round various departments.
Earlier, the Chairman, House Committee on industry Trade and Commerce, Dr Pete Ibida noted that Anambra State has recorded significant progress in Trade and Commerce due to state government’s effective security network.
