Daily Times Newspaper is to partner ABS in the upcoming Miss Anambra beauty pageant coming up soonest.

The Group General Manager Daily Times Newspaper, Mr Olisa Egbunike made this known in an ABS radio programme, “pop stars of the seventies.
The programme features celebrities in all spheres of life .
Yesterday’s programme featured the Group Managing Director Mr Olisa Egbunike and the Publisher  Mr Fidelis Anosike.
Speaking on the Miss Anambra beauty pageant organized by the outfit,  Mr Egunike said they decided to partner ABS because, the station has the best state pageant in the country, talking of Miss Anambra.
Fielding questions from the anchor of the programme Mr Nwora, on the effect of social media on traditional broadcasting, Mr Egbunike opined that social media is not a threat, but is out to cover the areas which the traditional media cannot cover.
The publisher of the newspaper Mr Anosike agreed that though cost of running the outfit is on the high side, they are able to cope due to the enterprising spirit they have as Ndi Anambra, which according to him is the only reason Governor Obiano is still paying workers salaries when other state governors don’t.
The  south East regional  edition of miss Nigeria beauty pageant will hold in Awka.
