State government has restated its commitment to completing the Nkwo Enugwu-Ukwu /Express bye pass.
The Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke stated this when the member representing Njikoka One Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Dr Timothy Ifedioranma briefed his constituents on his score card in the past one year.
The briefing was held at Umu Nri Palace, Enugwu-Ukwu, Njikoka Council Area.
The Deputy Governor, disclosed that some money had been disbursed to the contractor handling the project, and as such, the bridge work, completed, making the road accessible.
He gave assurance that the project will be completed soon as according to him, the promises made were from the heart and will be fulfilled.
Dr Nkem Okeke, called for patience and support for the present administration in its commitment to ensuring good governance which has manifested in many areas of the State economy.
Contributing, Dr Ifedioranma who gave account of his one year stewardship in the State Assembly, revealed that he has sponsored and co-sponsored many bills including the Anambra State Boundary Committee Amendment Bill 2016, Traditional Rulers and Presidents General Power Dichotomy Bill 2016, among others, saying that the briefing was a feedback mechanism for his Constituents.
Present on the occasion were stakeholders from Enugwu-Ukwu, Nawfia and Enugwu-Agidi, including the Traditional Rulers of Enugwu-Ukwu, and Nawfia.
