Traditional Prime ministers in all the one hundred and seventy seven communities of the state have endorsed Governor Willie Obiano for second term.

The endorsement came up at the end of their August monthly meeting held in Neni, Anaocha local council area.
In a unanimous decision echoed by all the traditional Prime Ministers after making their stand known through the president of the group chief Anthony Enukaeme, all the Onowu in the state noted that the governor is walking in the right path and has not neglected the
customs and traditions of the state.
They added that apart from working in all sectors of the state economy, Governor Obiano has upgraded the face of Awka capital city to be at par and even better than other state capital cities just in two years, saying that given extra four years, Anambra will be a state to
beat in all ramifications.
On road infrastructure, the group made it clear that more roads are being constructed even though work seems to have stopped due to torrential rains witnessed lately, and lauded the decision by the governor to partner individuals in road construction in their various communities, by constructing the number of kilometers of road done by any individual or community to reciprocate the communal efforts of the communities .
They also called on the state citizens to support good governance by protecting all government projects in their localities and to throw their full support to the governor’s second term bid.
