The state Chairman, APGA, Sir Norbert Obi has commissioned the party office in Umuoji with a call to the citizenry to rally round Governor Obiano to actualize his second term bid come 2017.
The Renovated party office was vandalised by hoodlums early this year.
The commissioning attracted APGA stalwait and faithful from the town and beyond who welcome Sir Norbert with cultural music.
Addressing the crowd, Sir Norbert appreciated the efforts of Governor Obiano for taking the party to enviable height as well as transforming all sectors of the state economy.
In a speech, the special adviser to the Governor on legal matters, Barrister Queen Okonkwo recounted how APGA came into Umuoji and pledged that the community will give total support to the Obiano administration.
Some APGA Chieftains in the town, chief Olisa Aniuno and chief Eddy Onwumelu appreciated support of the government renovating the party office promising to mobilize ninety five percent vote in the town to ensure the re-election bid of the governor.
Contributing the Chairman Idemili North Local Government Council, Chief Cletus Onwurah, a party member, Honorable Chigbo Okongwu an APGA ward Chairman in the community, Chief Frank Nnadi expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the state government and appealed to citizens of the town to troop out en-mass to benefit from the state government’s loan to farmers to boost agriculture in the state Official opening of the APGA official formed the highpoint of the occasion.
