The Awka Ambassadors Club, a social organisation exclusive to Awka indigenes will hold its 25th anniversary on Thursday, the 30th of December 2016.
In a release signed by the Publicity Secretary of the organisation, Mr. Chukwukeluo Udeke, the anniversary event will feature the launching of a Two Hundred Million Naira Education Endowment Fund, induction of new members, award and recognition of deserving members of the society. The events will take place at Barn Hill Hotels, Awka from 12 noon.
Prominent members of the Anambra society are expected at the event including Chief Willie Obiano, Governor of Anambra state who will be the Special of Honour while Engineer Arthur Ezeh will serve as the the Chief Launcher. Chief Sir Emma Bishop Okonkwo will serve as Chairman of the occasion.
