WRITTEN BY EMMANUEL OKONKWO
The remains of late Mrs. Elizabeth Orazulike has been laid to rest in her compound at Amakwa village, Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Council Area.

It was a celebration of life well spent, as children, grandchildren, in-laws and friends of late Mrs Elizabeth Orazulike, aged 78, as well as the congregation of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Ozubulu, trouped out to pay their last respect.
In a sermon, Reverend father Jude Okwuelu, who described death as inevitable for all mortals, charged Christians to always live a life that would earn them eternal life, which he said, remains the target of any true Christian.
Describing late Mrs Orazulike as an epitome of humility and a devout Christian, Reverend father Okwuelu, regretted that some Christians are no longer conscious of life after death as they have allowed materialism to control their lives, advising them to have attitudinal change so as not to allow Christ’s death on the cross of Calvary be in vain.
Speaking to the ABS, the first and second sons of the deceased, Chief Stephen Orazulike, and Honourable Aloysius Orazulike, described their late mother as a unique woman and a peace maker, promising to uphold the legacies she left behind, as they prayed for God’s blessings and protection on their friends and well-wishers that graced the occasion.                                                  For her part, the daughter of the deceased, Lolo Chioma Ikegwuonu, lamented the death of her mother who she described as a substantial one whom everybody would love to have as a mother, praying God to receive her soul in His paradise.
A son-in-law to late Mrs Orazulike, High Chief Aloysius Ikegwuonu, described his mother-in-law as lovely, caring, and God-fearing, who loved and cherished both children and in-laws without discrimination, praying that her soul rests in peace.                                                 Contributing, a friend to the Orazulike family, who is also the Managing Director Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency, Mr. Jude Emecheta, who thanked God for the life of the deceased, advised the children to keep the legacies she left behind and as well, the spirit of love and unity she has ignited in the family.
Highlights were special rendition by Saint Michael’s choir, internment, dances and cultural displays by the deceased’s age mates, among others.
