Members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the State have been urged to close ranks as well as embrace unity of purpose towards returning Governor Willie Obiano for a second term in office.
Rising from its meeting in Awka, the APGA local government deputy chairman’s forum emphasized the need for Ndi Anambra irrespective of party affiliations to support and identify with the laudable programmes and policies of the Obiano administration which it said has reduced to the barest minimum, crime rate in the state.
According to the forum, Governor Willie Obiano deserves the support of the people and re-election because he has demonstrated variously his genuine interest in the welfare of the people within his three years in office.
The forum which spoke through its chairman, Chief Maduka Anusi, stated that the various awards on the Governor speak volumes of his unique style of governance which has proven that the state is truely the light of the nation.
