The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Barrister Rita Maduagwu has extolled the contributions of women to the development of the Church and larger society.
In her goodwill message to women of the state as they embark on this year’s Annual August General Meeting, Barrister Maduagwu, noted that the meeting has continued to yield positive results in all ramifications.
The State Number one law-maker, maintained that the State House of Assembly will not relent in making laws and passing resolutions aimed at improving the living standards of the people.
She advised women to aspire to be role models to their children especially the female folk by moulding them morally and socially to enable them become responsible future Mothers.
Barrister Maduagwu while describing women’s August Meeting as a veritable instrument for the advancement of Women’s course, enjoined the women to pray for the peaceful conduct of the November eighteenth governorship election in the State, during their meetings.
