Governor Willie Obiano has been commended for his people oriented policies and programmes that have raised the bar of governance.
Speaking to the ABS in Awka, a stakeholder in the State based in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Dr Simeon Onyemaechi said there is no sign of recession in the State as people are looking healthy and tempo of socio-economic activities has remained high.
Dr Onyemaechi said the present administration has introduced innovations that accelerated development in all facets of the State economy while areas hitherto neglected by successive administrations have received desired attention.
He noted that Awka has been given a befitting Capital status with landmark infrastructure including the three fly-over bridges that have changed the entire outlook of the State.
Dr Onyemaechi recalled that unlike the years when the State was held hostage by crime, people now return regularly and move about freely without fear of armed robbers and kidnappers while total sanity has been returned to the activities of the State.
He called on the state electorate to re-elect the Governor for second tenure to enable him consolidate on his achievements, noting that a fresh start in the governance of the state will be counter productive.
