The State Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke has commended Ndi Anambra for their overwhelming support to APGA in last Saturday’s Governorship election.

Speaking in an ABS audience participatory programme in Awka, Dr Okeke said the collective decision of the people to renew the mandate of the present administration was a clear testimony that they have taken full ownership of the State and APGA as their exclusive political platform.

He reassured that the Obiano administration will not relent in its drive to reposition all sectors of the State economy to achieve the vision and mission of entrenching a sustainable future by consolidating on gains already recorded in agriculture, education, health care delivery among others.

Also speaking, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu said the victory is a call for more work.

One of the guests, Mr Nnaemeka Mmaduegbuna said the mandate is clear expression of confidence in the Obiano administration.

Another guest, Mr Chinedu Nkwonta noted that for the first time in the history of the State, the people of the State spoke with one voice to give collective mandate to a candidate and expressed optimism that the administration would make the people proud.

Some callers to the programme including Tagbo from Ihiala, Chinenye from Nibo, Ochiriozuo from Igabriam and Ignatius Okoye from Oraeri expressed delight over the victory of APGA at the poll.
