It was a solemn assembly and moment of reflection for the management and staff of Anambra Broadcasting Service as they gathered to mourn the sudden departure of her former Head of Administration, Late Mrs Uju Ike.

The mood was sad and solemn at the Multipurpose Hall of the Anambra Broadcasting Service as members of staff and management held a minute silence for late Mrs Ike who died suddenly on Thursday last week.

The Director of News and Current Affairs Department, Mr. Gab Okpalaeze took the Bible reading from first Thessalonians chapter five verse thirteen to seventeen to usher in the one minute silence.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of the ABS , Mr. Uche Nworah, described the late Head of Administration, Late Mrs Ike as a professional who was dedicated to her duty and always pursued the very best at all times.
Other members of Staff: Mrs Ekwi Ajide of the News and Current Affairs Department; Mrs Ebele Uzoegbu, Mr Emeka Okoye and Prince Emeka Kalu all of the Programmes Department, also took turns to eulogize their departed colleague whom they described as a woman of virtue that is committed and dedicated to duty as well as had respect for every person no matter their social statue
A candle light procession in remembrance of Mrs Ike was the highpoint of the event.
