Neni Community in Anaocha Local Government Area went agog last Sunday as the Chairman and Managing Director of TONIMAS Nigeria Limited,

Chief Sir Anthony Obiagboso Enukeme, celebrates his seventy-fourth birthday anniversary.

The event which took place at the White castle Hotels, commenced with a special mass at Saint James Parish Neni.

Speaking during the ceremony, Governor Willie Obiano thanked the people of Neni for their support to the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and his administration, especially during the November eighteenth 2017, gubernatorial election, which he won convincingly, as well as the January thirteenth Anambra Central Senatorial District re-run election, which produced Chief Victor Umeh as the first Senator of All Progressives Grand Alliance extraction.

Governor Obiano, who was represented by the Head of Service, Mr Harry Uduh, maintained that his administration will continue to place priority on security of lives and property for enhanced development of the State.

The Governor, while felicitating with Chief Enukeme on his seventy fourth birthday anniversary, thanked him for using his God’s given wealth to impact positively on the society.

Earlier in a homily, Reverend Father Professor Anthony Chiegboka charged affluent individuals to always remember the less privileged and commended Chief Enukeme for assisting the government in reducing the unemployment rate through his conglomerates.

Responding, the Celebrant Chief Enukeme, who is also the traditional Prime Minister of Neni, and Grand patron of APGA, while thanking God for his blessings urged affluent individuals to use such in touching lives.

He thanked all those that made the event a huge success.

His wife Lady Mary, while describing her husband as unique, charged married couples to make true love their watch word in order to build a happy home.
Others who spoke at the event were the Commissioner for Youth Entrepreneurship and Sports Development, Dr Uju Nworgu, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters, Mr Ejike Okechukwu, the President State Council for Women Societies, Lady Oby Obodozie, Chief Benjamine Okoye and Mrs Ngozi Izuegbunam, described Chief Enukeme as a philanthropist per excellence.

One of the children of the celebrant, Mr Chike Enukeme, stressed the need for Ndigbo to look up to responsible individuals as their role models.

Highlights of the event were cutting of the birthday cake, presentation of gifts and dance by the celebrant and his wife.
