Innoson Vehicle has concluded plans to upgrade some sections of its plant from manual to automated production.
The upgrading comes with the introduction of robot technology in the plant.
Speaking during the company’s management meeting yesterday, the Chairman of Innoson Vehicles, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, said it has become necessary that the factory introduces new vehicles production lines which will see its vehicle annual production rise from ten thousand units to sixty thousand units per annum.
Chief Chukwuma stated that some sections of the plant will be upgraded from manual production to automated production which will involve the use of robots which may be the first in Nigeria.
He reassured that Innoson Vehicles will continue to employ international best practices in the production of its vehicles that will compare favourably in terms of durability, fuel economy, and safety, saying that their best is yet to happen.
Chief Chukwuma encouraged Nigerians to keep faith with Innoson Vehicles and embrace it even as he said that, Innoson Vehicle is not just a vehicle manufacturing company as it represents Nigerian’s Identity and Image.
