Anambra Broadcasting Service is to partner Fidelity Bank PLC on Igbo Television series “Nduka” that will focus on promoting Igbo values, culture and language which will commence on ABS Television on the fifteenth of this Month.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS, Mr Uche Nworah disclosed this at a press briefing at the corporate headquarters of the establishment in Awka.

 

The sitcom produced by an award winning movie producer, Charles Novia and directed by Uzodinma Okpechi will be on air on Channel 24, Startimes 113 and Metro Digital Channel 29.

The partnership, according to Mr Nworah, will bring a better viewing experience to Ndi Anambra and all lovers of the station as well as promote the unique language and culture of Ndi Igbo to the outside world.

He disclosed that the Anambra Broadcasting Service has been better repositioned to serve the numerous needs of viewers and listeners.

The Divisional Head, Brand Communications, Fidelity Bank PLC, Mr Charles Aigbe revealed that the organization was propelled to be part of the success story of the ABS to sustain the Igbo family values and culture, and to contribute to the energy creative economy in the state.

In his reaction, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Radio and Television, Mr Marcel Manafa who is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the ABS, said the initiative is a welcome development, especially now that the State is developing its cultural tourism attraction and the creative industry.
