There is no jewel in the world as valuable as a generous man; he is by all standards a great man. A great man, on the other hand, does not seek applause or praise.

He seeks truth; he seeks the road to happiness, and what he ascertains, he gives to others. No doubt, a great man is different from an eminent one in that he is ready to be the servant of the society. He is humble, open minded and a friend of the people. He loves to meet people, especially the down trodden at their point of need.
Chief Honourable Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo fits into those descriptions. He is an epitome of a generous great man; a man who knows the way, shows the way and goes the way. Onye Ndozi, as he is popularly called, needs no introduction in Anambra politics. He represents Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja.
Onye Ndozi has achieved a lot through divine grace which has driven him to work towards fulfilling God’s intents of helping the needy around him. Thus, he established the Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo Foundation through which he has uplifted the down in the spirit, the hoi poloi, the sick in the society.
Since he was sent on errand to represent Njikoka/Anaocha/Dunukofia constituency in the House of Representatives, Chief Honourable Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo has constructed two boreholes in each of the towns in the three local government areas that make up the large constituency. He also built, and renovated many health centres in the area. Currently, an ICT centre is under construction at Enugwu Ukwu, while he has attracted the erosion control at erosion prone areas at Enugwu Ukwu and Nimo. Onye Ndozi installed street lights in some towns in his constituency.
Every year, Chief Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo presents Christmas gifts to members of his constituency, including rice, wrapper and money. The lawmaker also attracted the reconstruction of many roads and renovated many primary schools in the area. Regularly, Chief Hon. Dozie Nwankwo foundation embarks on town hall meetings to chat with his constituents.
Understanding the acronym “health is wealth”, Chief Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, over a decade, is committed in reducing the health challenges of his people and beyond. He has tirelessly provided spectacles, Drugs and Tooth refill etcetera, for patients across Njikoka, Dunukofia, Anaocha, Awka North-South, among other local government Areas of Anambra state. From its inception in 2009, the Free Medical Care, Eye and Dental Treatment and Surgeries have gone through thirteenth editions.
Guided by the principle that knowledge is Power, and the assertion that Education is the bedrock of every society; Chief Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo is committed more than ever in providing educational materials to pupils and students of Njikoka/Dunukofia/Anaocha Federal constituencies and its environs. This he has done by his numerous educational supports, scholarship schemes, facilitating admissions into higher institutions of learning for our teaming youths and many more.
Hon. Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo has over ten years consistently provided educational materials such as books, school sandals etcetera for all the primary and secondary schools in Njikoka/Dunukofia/Anaocha Federal constituency annually as well as bearing the cost of WAEC & JAMB fees for some secondary school students.
Over two hundred pupils and students within Njikoka/Dunukofia/Anaocha L.G.A are currently on Chief Honorable Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo scholarship scheme, of which many have graduated, while many are currently running and many more to be added. In addition, he has facilitated over one hundred admission of students in Njikoka/Dunukofia/Anaocha Federal Constituency into various institutions of higher learning and more are currently in the making for the 2018/2019 academic session. On regular basis, Chief Honorable Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo empowers hundreds of women and youths of Njikoka/Dunukofia/Anaocha Federal constituency, ranging from Toyota Cars, Innoson Salon Cars (IVM), keke-Napep (Tricycles), Motorcycles, Sewing Machines, Hair Dryers and Wheel Chairs.
Tomorrow, Saturday, August 18, 2018 by 10 am, the High Chief of Umunri Kingdom, Honorable Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo, Onye Ndozi Nwachinemelu, Akalaka Nteje and Osinachi Anaocha will organize another empowerment programme for women and youths of Njikoka/Anaocha/And Dunukofia Federal Constituency at Obu Umunri Kingdom, Enugwu Ukwu.
