The Commissioner for Youths, Entrepreneurship and Creative Economy, Mr. Bonaventure Enemali, will today,
at three O’clock in the afternoon, kick off a football match in honour of Nigeria’s first Senate President who later became Acting President, Dr Akwaeke Nwafor Orizu.
The football competition, being organized by the Nzuko Ora Nnewi, is part of the 2018 Afiaolu Festival in Nnewi.
According to a press statement from one of the sons of the first Senate President, who is also Gov Willie Obiano’s Senior Special Assistant on Youth Entrepreneurship, Prince Nnamsom Nwafor Orizu, the Unity Cup Competition will hold at the premises of Nnewi High School, starting at three o’clock in the afternoon .
The statement says prizes and gift items will be doled out, at the end of the match, in commemoration of Dr Akwaeke Nwafor Orizu.
It further says all sons and daughters of Anambra both home and in the diaspora are expected at the grand event.
