Against scientific predictions that this year’s rainfall will not likely get to the scale of 2012 heavy downpour, a traditional weather controller, Chief Dr Fredrick Dike has asked Nigerians to prepare for another deluge.
Chief Dr Dike who is from Agulu, Anambra state, claims that his interventions helped in holding back the torrential rainfall in the atmosphere but said he would no longer continue unless he gets official recognition by the federal government.
According to the rain maker, after years of struggle and experiences with the elemental forces he was able to master the weather control techniques, which helped to checked devastation and flooding in the country.
Chief Dr Dike decried what he called the preference of western sciences to natural endowments God bequeathed to Africans.
He called on government and relevant authorities to recognize and appreciate his interventions to encourage him to sustain his free services, warning that catastrophic rainfall is impending.
