The Commissioner for Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, Mr. Bonaventure Enemali has called on youths to create wealth using their talents and other natural endowments.

He made the call during the Anambra Talent show, “road to the finals” held at Chike Okoli Entrepreneurial Center, at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.

The grand finale of the Anambra talent hunt scheduled to hold on Twenty second of this month has different categories including technovation, modeling, music, crafting and dance among others.

Declaring the event open, Mr. Enemali affirmed that Governor Obiano has provided a veritable platform for youths to thrive in creativity and excel in life, by launching one youth one skill project in the state.

The Commissioner who emphasized that the present administration in the state has provided adequate opportunities for the youths to showcase their talents, skills and potential, advised young
innovators to always come to the Ministry to share their Inventions assuring that he is committed to encourage rising stars in the state.

Addressing the youths, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Creative Media, Mr. Bob-Manuel Udokwu, who described talent as a gift from God appealed to the youths to shun frivolous act that may endanger their future and lauded the vision of the state government to creating a Ministry that will help the youths blossom.

Some youths through their creativity invented waste to wealth machine, excavator and water purificator, psoriasis reactor converting waste plastics into cooking gas, inverter and others.

In an interview, a technovator who invented waste to wealth machine, Mr. Emeka Igweze said that the machine can transform any waste material like plastic and nylon into, kerosene, fuel, and diesel.

The event was well attended by government functionaries, students, and youths from several parts of the state while script writing, dance, songs, acting and many more added glamour to the event.
