The State Caretaker Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Ndubisi Nwobu, says the popularity of Governor Willie Obiano,
earned him landslide victory during the November 2017 gubernatorial election in the State.
Chief Nwobu, made this assertion while featuring in the latest edition of ABS Radio Television News and Current Affairs programme FACE THE PRESS in Awka.
He also attributed Governor Obiano’s victory to the zoning and rotation principles of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Anambra State.
The State PDP caretaker Chairman however explained that the party is currently being repositioned to make an impressive mark in Anambra State during the 2019 general elections.
He enthused that the crisis which have over the years bedeviled the PDP in the state would soon be resolved amicably in an enduring manner.
Chief Nwobu also frowned at what he described as the unconscionable nepotism in appointments into the country’s strategic security agencies by the federal government, pointing out that the unfortunate development is a threat to the unity and cohesion of the Nigerian-Nation.
