The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Nkem Okeke hosts a meeting of House of Assembly aspirants for Njikoka Constituency 1 under the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ahead of the party primaries.

Welcoming the aspirants and stakeholders, Dr Okeke said the meeting was to address the aspirants with a view to building consensus and agreeing on one person from the seven aspirants that will be supported by all to go for the main elections in 2019.

He debunked social media reports that he had endorsed a particular candidate saying that the essence of the meeting was for all the stakeholders to look at the issue with a view to consensus building.

Present at the meeting are the seven aspirants including the incumbent, Honourable Tim Ifedioranma (from Nawfia), Chief Chidi Okoye (From Enugwu -Agidi), Chief Emeka Onuora (From Enugwu-Agidi), Akweke Francis Okoye (from Enugwu-Ukwu), Chidi Ibemeka (From Enugwu-Ukwu), Ebuka Onuora (Enugwu-Agidi) and Emeka Ikemefuna (Enugwu-Agidi).

Stakeholders present include Nze Uche Nworah (MD/CEO of Anambra Broadcasting Service), Hon. Dozie Nwankwo (member Representing Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka LGAs in the Federal House of Representatives), Chief Clement Nwafor, Emeka Ozumba (SSA Media to Governor Obiano), Oba Joseph Okonkwo, Akunwata Anayo Nkwonta and others.
