The Nri Ward One and Two of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA have come together to celebrated the achievements of the party so far and work out blueprints for future successes.

Aspirants from the area, as well as leading APGA faithful, including the Transition Committee Chairman for Anaocha Local Government Area, Mr Ikeobi Ejiofor, and an APGA Board of Trustees Member, Dr Uju Okeke attended the ceremony.

Extolling the relevance of the event to the party’s unity the Transition Committee Chairman for Anaocha Local Government Area Mr Ejiofor said the gathering provided the members a great avenue to look beyond partisan interest and celebrate what they have achieved over the years.

Mr Ejiofor who noted that the success of APGA, in last year’s gubernatorial election remainedb fresh, pledged to accomplish the vision of his office in complementing the efforts of the present administration.

Earlier, the APGA Board of Trustees member, Dr Okeke, said the get-together, which was also to celebrate the landslide victory of Governor Willie Obiano in last year’s election, will also strengthen
grassroots party blocs in Nri axis.

For Chief Emelie Okika, an aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance and Sir Ejike Okechukwu, a party chieftain, the occasion was apt given the party’s sucesses over the years, adding that in preparation for the 2019 elections, there is need for strong grassroots mobilization.

The convener of the get-together, and Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots Mobilization, Sir Tony Ugoji, stated that the event aims at upholding APGA uniformity in the wards to consolidate the party’s successes in the State and beyond.
Sir Tony extoled the achievements of the present administration, noting that the party’s victory in the forthcoming elections would emanate from present successes.
