The member representing Ogbaru One Constituency, in the State House of Assembly Sir Benson Nwawulu has urged Governor Willie Obiano to direct the
Contracting Firm handling the construction of G.M.O-Ogbuagu-Mgbuka -Amaizu road to go back to site.
Sir Benson made the appeal while supporting motion for adjournment during plenary.
The Lawmaker explained that the deplorable condition of the road makes the area impassable for motorists and causes hardship to the people in terms of evacuation of their farm produce to urban areas.
He revealed that two persons lost their lives in the area in recent times occasioned by the bad condition of the area.
Sir Benson urged the Executive Arm of Government to direct the Contractor incharge of the project to do palliative works there to salvage the situation before commencing real construction work to
avoid more casualties.
