The Nigeria Labour Congress NLC has suspended the warning strike it embarked upon last week over the inability of the federal government to negotiate and implement the new National Minimum Wage for workers.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the National President of NLC Mr. Ayuba Wabba said that the call-off of the strike action by the organized labour was as a result of firm commitment by the federal government that the tripartite committee on the minimum wage will reconvene this Thursday.
