Former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar today, Sunday, October 7, 2018 emerged as the Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polling a total of 1532 of the delegates votes at the party’s national convention which held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The closest rival Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State scored 693 votes while Senate President Bukola Saraki scored 317 votes.
