Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday met with his Vice President during his tenure, and current Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 elections, Atiku Abubakar.

The meeting held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Complex. Also at the meeting were the Bishop of the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), David Oyedepo; Islamic cleric, Ahmed Gumi; and the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Matthew Kukah and other political stakeholders.

Online reports monitored by the ABS say the meeting appear to have gone well and that President Obasanjo pledged to support Atiku’s bid for the presidency.
