It is considered a blessing for a man to attain the biblical ripe age of seventy, and even a greater blessing when such a person attains eighty and above.

Such is the case of an entrepreneur and community leader at Nise , Chief Gabriel Ositadinma Chibueze who clocked eighty five years of age.

it was a moment of joy, celebration and thanksgiving as people from all walks of life including the clergy and the religious, top government officials, politicians, business gurus, friends and well wishers converged on Saints Peter and Paul Catholic church, Ara Nise, to celebrate with Chief Gabriel Chibueze.

In a homily to mark the Pontifical High Mass to herald the event, the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor, said it is important for a Christian to lead a sacrificial life and to imitate Christ in all ramifications.

Bishop Ezeokafor stressed the need for Christians to live for others which according him will help alleviate the plight of the poor.

He advised the congregation to be humble, have forgiving spirit and assist the Church to promote work of evangelism and prayed for more grace of God on the celebrant.

While felicitating with the celebrant, the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Chief Victor Umeh, thanked God for the opportunities and life granted to Chief Chibueze, noting that what they learnt from his life, is a life of purpose and godliness and the desire to contribute and donate to the Church and society.

The celebrant, Chief Chibueze thanked God for his mercies in his life and all that graced the ceremony adding that their presence will spur him on to do more good works.

Governor Willie Obiano was represented on the occasion by his Principal Secretary, Mr. Willie Nwokoye.
