The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International Medical mission to District 9142, Nigeria has started in Awka and will end on third November, 2018.
This is contained in a press release signed by the pioneer District Governor, Rotarian Emma Ude Akpeh.
The statement said the Mission will be hosted by Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Awka and will have a team of twenty Medical Doctors (Consultants in different fields of medicine) from India.
It also revealed that the Mission will provide free medical treatment, including surgeries to indigent Ndi Anambra and other Nigerians, a forum for Networking and exchange of ideas between the expatriates and Nigeria Doctors on current medical practices aimed at ensuring quality service delivery as well as donation of medical equipment for improved services.
The release therefore, encouraged Ndi Anambra to visit Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital, Awka during the period of the medical outreach to receive free medical services from the visiting medical team.
