Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano has felicitated visited the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and his wife, Olori Silekunola Naomi to felicitate with them on their wedding , held last week.
Governor Obiano who recalled years of friendship with the Royal father said on his return from America, he decided to visit the family and congratulate them on their wedding .
He noted that the Ooni has always shown love to him , his wife, his government, the people of Anambra state and Igboland in general noting that they are proud to be associated with him as the king of the town Ile-Ife which he noted is the spiritual home of the Yorubas and prayed for his long life on the sacred throne of Oduduwa,while wishing them ;good health and God’s blessings for fruitful marriage with good children.
responding , the Ooni while thanking the Governor for the visit to the Kingdom,
observed that they have come a long way together and had remained longtime friend even when they had nothing and didn’t know God had prepared exalted positions for them in this country
