The organized labour says there is no going back on the November sixth proposed Nation-wide strike over the non-implementation of the thirty thousand naira new minimum wage for workers.
The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Trade Union Congress, TUC and the United Labour Congress, confirmed this after a meeting of their Joint Central Working Committee in Lagos.
It would be recalled that the Abuja Division of the National Industrial Court has restrained the organized labour from embarking on
an indefinite nation-wide strike next week.
Justice Sanusi Kado directed both the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress to stay action pending the determination of a suit filed by the Federal Government.
The order followed an ex-parte application that was filed by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr
Abubakar Malami, SAN.
The application was moved yesterday by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice, Mr Dayo Apata.
