Odion Ighalo has added to the Super Eagles injury concerns after he had to be stretchered off in his Chinese club’s last home game of the season today.
Ighalo was forced out after just 17 minutes and it is now left to be seen how severe the injury is and whether he will be fit in time for a crucial AFCON qualifier in South Africa on November 17.
The former Watford striker has scored 21 goals this season in the Chinese Super League for Changchun Yatai.
He has scored a total of five goals in the Eagles last three matches, including a hat-trick against Libya in Uyo.
Eagles No 1 goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has already been ruled out of the clash after he was injured in action for his Spanish club Elche CF.
