UNICEF programme Officers from Anambra ,Enugu and Benue states converges in Enugu for the 2018 Zonal Annual Review and Stakeholders Forum.
The stakeholders during the gathering reviewed the activities of UNICEF in their various states and developed a work plan for the next two years with a view to giving UNICEF beneficiaries the best.
In his opening speech, the Chief of Field Office UNICEF Enugu Mr. Ibrahim Conteh, observed that the forum availed participants the opportunity for cross fertilization of ideas, noting that members will report on the success, challenges and a way forward in their various states.
According to Mr. Conteh, the results achieved in various states will justify the success of what was learnt last year.
Also speaking the Executive Secretary, Enugu State Economic Planning Commission, Mr. Dan Onyishi, said that participants should be mindful of the fact that the aim of reporting activities is to check the effect it has on the people.
He said that the report available demonstrated that members worked hard in 2018.
In her contribution, the Gender Development Specialist Venerazakiorva who spoke on the psychological difference between Biological sexes, noted that men prefer working with things that are not living while women like working with Human beings.
