It was a harvest of crime bursting and arrests for the Anambra State Police Command, as it intercepted suspected criminals at four
different locations in the state.

Police detectives attached to Ogidi Division arrested two suspects, Akasi Ubasinachi and Simon Ukwueze for allegedly snatching at gun
point a Toyota Sienna vehicle from their victim.

According to a release from the State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, the Police also arrested four persons at a hide out at Nise, for shooting and robbing Mr. Nonye Chukwu , around Amaenyi Awka last week.

The suspects are Abuchi Okpala, Anthony Ofordile, Nonso Madubuikele,and Chukwujekwu Akabueze.

According to the release, items recovered from the suspects include a local pistol, a fabricated English pistol and one shuttle bus.

The Police PRO says the four suspects who have confessed to the crime would soon appear in court.
