Recently, the European American University Commonwealth of Dominica conferred on the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Winco Foam Industries Limited, Chief Godwin Ifeanyichukwu Okafor, an Honourary Doctorate Degree of Science in Business Administration and Corporate Governance. The Honourary doctorate degree was conferred on him during the convocation ceremonies of the University at Accra, Ghana.
Conferring the doctorate degree on him, the President of the governing council of the University, Professor John Kersey, said that Dr. Okafor was carefully selected by the governing council of the University in view of his contributions to the growth of the society, and for his business acumen.
Chief Dr. Okafor established Winco Foam Industries Limited in 1983 and it is now a famous brand in many homes, schools and organizations because of its quality mattress products. Since then, Winco Foam has been living up to its goal of adding more comfort to people’s life.
