The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor, says the foundation giving to any structure determines its condition.

In a sermon at the Anglican Chapel of the light, Federal Polytechnic Oko in Orumba-North Local Government Area, during a service of confirmation and admission into Girls Guild and mother’s Union, Right Reverend Ezeofor called on parents to always lay a solid foundation for their children to secure a bright future for them.

He decried the high rate of immorality in a society and charged parents to be alive to their responsibilities especially in the areas of child nurturing and upbringing.

Bishop Ezeofor while calling on the federal government to always make adequate budgetary provisions for the Education sector, called for an amicable resolution of the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities to save the Education Sector from
total collapse.

He cautioned Christians against self life, reminding them of the need to always live their lives according to the dictates of the Holy Spirit.

In a vote of thanks, the Chaplain of the Chaplaincy, Venerable Chukwudi Osondu who described the Bishop‘s Visit as a morale booster, urged those that received the sacrament of confirmation during the service to aspire to be role models.

One of those that were admitted into the Mothers Union, Mrs Amarachi Okudo, promised to use her new position in touching lives.

Thirty-seven candidates received sacrament of confirmation while twenty-four girls were admitted into the Girls Guild and eight women into the Mothers Union during the service.
