Nigerians have been called upon to help in entrenching purposeful leadership in the country by rallying round the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the 2019 general elections.
The National Leader of APGA Governor Willie Obiano, made the call during the inauguration of APGA gubernatorial campaign for the 2019 general election at Umuahia in Abia State.
The Governor Obiano represented by his Deputy, Dr. Nkem Okeke noted that APGA is on a rescue mission, as it has resolved to replicate the good governance already established in Anambra in other states of the federation with emphasis on the South East geo-political Zone.
Governor Obiano charged Ndi Abia to rally round APGA in the next year’s general elections as according to him the party remains the best option they have.
Earlier, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, represented by his Deputy, Chief Uchenna Okogbuo, said that the party known for transparency and due process, will fight hunger and poverty, rehabilitate the educational, infrastructural and agricultural sectors for the benefit of the citizenry.
In a remark, the APGA gubernatorial candidate for the 2019 general election in Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, called on Ndi Abia in particular and Ndi Igbo in general to vote wisely in the 2019 elections.
The Member Representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Sir Ossy Prestige, charged Nigerians to secure their permanent voter cards and not to mortgage there conscience during the forthcoming elections.
In their various speeches, the APGA candidate for Aba Central at the Abia State House of Assembly, Sir Abraham Obah, his Arochukwu Constituency counterpart, Dr. Mike Okoha, and Mr. Tony Onyenweaku for Umuahia East Constituency, while describing APGA as people oriented party, assured the people of good representation if elected.
The APGA campaign inauguration was well attended by both members and non-members of the party drawn from all parts of the State who publicly declared their loyalty and support to the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the 2019 general elections.
