Five police constables from Anambra State were among the best performers during the passing out parade of 193 constables at Police Training College, Nekede, Imo State.

A constable from Imo State completed the number of 6 best performing constables at the parade which took place on Saturday, 22nd December 2018 and had the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha in attendance.

Governor Okorocha while handing out the awards to the top performers praised their professionalism and resilience saying that they have done their families and state proud with their performances.

Among the best performing constables from Anambra State are Meboh Ebere from Nsugbe, Anambra East LGA (Best in Drill), Ofili Chibuike from Ogwuaniocha, Ogbaru LGA (Best in Shooting), Onwubiko Blessing Nneamaka from Okpuno, Awka South LGA (Best in Academics), Eze Loveth from Achina, in Aguata LGA (Best in Legal Studies) and Okeke Modesta from Ojoto, Idemili South LGA (Best in Liberal Studies).

Speaking on this achievement, Anambra State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C. Don Adinuba said the constables have demonstrated the true spirit of excellence that Ndi Anambra are known for, “Our Governor, Chief Willie Obiano is elated by this news. What the constables have done shows our collective enterprise as Ndi Anambra, our doggedness, value of excellence, resilience and hardwork”.
