Nigerians have been called upon to always embark on those programmes that will promote peace, progress and unity of the Country.
The traditional Prime Minister of Awa in Orumba North Local Governmentarea Chief Israel Ezue, who made the call in an interview with Abuchi Nwozor maintained that the corporate existence of the country should be paramount in the mind of a right thinking Nigerian.
Chief Ezue, who described peace as a major index for recording socio- economic development called on the people to embrace it for enhanced development of their various areas.
He commended Governor Willie Obiano for his people oriented programmes and policies especially the twenty million naira community choose your project initiative, a gesture he noted will go a long way in improving the living standards of those in the hinterlands.
Chief Ezue who is a Kano based industrialist, urged the Federal government to map out more policies that will fast-track the industrial development of the Country by reconstructing all its failed
roads, especially in the South-East geo-political zone in addition to improving electricity supply among others.
Chief Ezue called on the people to use the period of Christmas in building bridges of love and good neighbourliness, in addition to remembering the less privileged in their midst.
