The state government has restated it’s resolved towards promoting private sector driven economy.

The Deputy Governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke who restated this while handing over the keys to a four bedroom duplex to the longest serving staff of AMAECOM Mr.  Nsikak Uko during a gala night and award ceremony organized by the company in Awka said they would scale up their contribution towards economic growth and employment creation.

Dr. Okeke identified loyalty, dedication and hard work as some of the virtues that catalyze success.

The state Head of Service, Mr. Harry Uduh Who was one of the awardees, while dedicating the honor to the state workforce attributed it to the fruitful relationship between the company and Civil servants through financing of household equipments which according to him served as diversified staff welfare, commended them for embracing credit economy that became fruitful since last three years.

On her part, the Director of Finance in the ABS, Mrs. Nneka Ogbuonwu who was also honored during the occasion, while dedicating it to the management and staff of the ABS promised a seamless transaction and cordial relationship between AMAECOM and the ABS.

Speaking, the Managing Director of AMAECOM, Dr Marcel Ofomata who described Anambra State as the most secured states in the country, called for policies that would attract more investors to the state.

Dr Ofomata while stating that the event is an annual ritual noted that it also part of their corporate social responsibility aimed at giving back to the society what they gained from it.
