The Commissioner For Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy, Mr. Bonaventure Enemali has provided one year Free Health Insurance for all the Igala speaking Communities in Anambra State as Christmas gift.
The epoch making event held at Nzam, the Headquarters of Anambra West Council Area, attracted Igala sons and daughters both young and old, members of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, government officials among numerous other dignitaries.
Addressing the Igala people, Commissioner Enemali who is an indigene of the area thanked them for their support to him and most especially the Willie Obiano administration which he said is the only government that remembered his people since the creation of the state for more than two decades ago.
Mr. Enemali who noted that health and education remains the greatest problem facing his people explained that what he has done is to compliment what the Obiano administration has already done for Ndi Anambra by introducing the Health Insurance Scheme, and maintained that the one year health insurance premium he paid for them is to enable them access health services at ease in all parts of the state.
He pointed out that he will introduce Bonaventure Enemali Education Number one Project next year to equally help people of the Local Government to acquire basic education in order to be at par with their compatriots in other parts of the state urging them to sustain their support to the current APGA government in the state for a greater Anambra state.
The Commissioner For Commerce, Market and Wealth Creation Mr. Christian Mmadubuko described Mr. Enemali as a young man with vision and foresight commending him for bringing life to his people through the payment of the health insurance premium and called on Ndi Igala to vote for APGA candidates in the 2019 general elections.
The Permanent Secretary, Office of the Secretary to the State Government Pharm. Emma-Ude Akpeh and the President General of Nzam, Prince Peter Okolo also showered encomiums on the Commissioner for the laudable initiative, which they averred will safeguard the lives of the inhabitants of the area in no small measure.
One of the beneficiaries of the scheme Mr. James Obulum from Igbedor commended Governor Willie Obiano for remembering the area in his cabinet and prayed God to bless Mr. Enemali for his magnanimity.
The event witnessed registration of the people into the Health Insurance Scheme by the officials of Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, issuance of the state health insurance cards to the people by the Commissioner as well as other free medical services.
