An APGA Candidate for Awka North Constituency, State House of Assembly, Mr. John Nwokoye has inaugurated his campaign committee and flagged off campaign ahead of the upcoming 2019 general election.
The inauguration which took place at Amadim village, Achalla, Awka North Local Government Area also drew APGA Faithful, party officers, ward chairmen and traditional rulers.
Speaking at the event, the Candidate , Mr. Nwokoye said he flagged off the campaign to awaken the minds of the Party faithful , assuring of positive impact on his constituents through quality representation and equally pledged to contribute his quota towards the development of the state if elected.
In a remark, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Safety and Emergency, Mr. Chikodi Anara, who maintained that APGA is the party for the Igbos called on the campaign committee of John Nwokoye Support Group to ensure landslide victory in all the communities in Awka North.
On his part, the APGA Chairman Awka North Local Government Area, Mr. Uzoma Mbaonu explained that the job of the committee ahead of the poll is a very serious one which should not be handled with kid gloves calling on all hands to be on clack to ensure desired results.
He said that voters in the Local Government have become well exposed to political activities and should understand that a vote for John Nwokoye is a vote to change their lives for the better.
The Awka North Transition Committee Chairman, Mr. Ferdinand Onwuje recalled that since the emergence of APGA in the Local Government vast development have recorded.
The event featured commissioning of borehole facility built for Amadim village, distribution of twenty five kilogrammes of rice with vegetable oil while youths paraded the arena with posters with inscriptions Vote John Nwokoye to represent Awka North constituency.
