A frontline Industrialist Chief Ajulu Uzodike, has called on the federal government to create an enabling environment for private hospitals to thrive to check Medical tourism abroad.
Speaking in an ABS interview in Awka, Chief Uzodike, maintained that when such environment is created it will go a long way in making qualified Doctors of Nigeria extraction who are currently working abroad to come home and help in developing the Health Sector in Nigeria.
He maintained that government continuous interference in major sectors of the economy is seriously affecting the development of the country and called on government to always encourage the private sector to thrive in the country to boost the economy.
Chief Uzodike who is a community leader at Nnewi regretted the poor state of federal roads across the country and called on the government to rehabilitate all its failed roads especially those in the South-east geo-political zone to boost businesses and enhanced transportation.
Chief Uzodike who harped on the need for the government to liberalize the economy to ensure free flow of money, urged the federal government to be more proactive in boosting electricity supply in the country to save many industries from closing shops.
The industrialist used the opportunity to canvass for policies and programmes that will improve the living standards of the people.
