An ultra modern Diocesan Secretariat complex and College of Nursing Sciences Amichi in Nnewi South Council Area have been dedicated and commissioned by the Archbishop, Metropolitan and Primate of All Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh.
The inauguration which took place during the Tenth Year Anniversary of Diocese of Amichi and ten years episcopacy of the pioneer Bishop of the Diocese, Rt. Reverend Ephraim Ikeakor attracted host of Bishop’s from within and outside Anambra, the clergy friends and well-wishers of the Diocese.
The Primate also dedicated and commissioned the Diocesan Women Bethany House and Business Complex, School Chapel and administrative building of the Holy Child Convent Amichi, Refectory, and female and male hostel buildings of the Diocesan College of Nursing Sciences.
The Primate who also took a tour of projects at the Diocesan Master’s Vessel Seminary Osumenyi, commended Bishop Ikeakor, the people of Diocese and their friends for the great achievements in the Diocese within ten years, noting that it is worthy of emulation.
On his part, the Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger, Most Reverend Professor Godwin Okpala represented by Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma thanked Bishop Ikeakor for his commitment towards propagating the gospel in diversed areas, urging the people to remain
supportive to the Diocese for more development.
Responding, the host Bishop, Right Reverend Ephraim Ikeakor who expressed gratitude to God for his faithfulness and grace over the years, thanked the Primate, the people of Amichi, friends of the
Diocese for their support and encouragement urging them not to relent in putting in more efforts.
In his remarks, the Cathedral Administrator, Venerable Chukwuemeka Chukwuebuka thanked God for Bishop Ikeakor who he described as a blessing to Amichi and humanity.
