The Fourteenth Edition of Honourable Ferdinand Dozie Nwankwo Free Medical Programe for the People of Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia Federal Constituency has kicked off.

The exercise which started at Enugu Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area attracted people of the area, political associates, friends and well wishers among others.

Explaining to the ABS the idea behind the free medical mission, Honourable Nwankwo who is the member representing Njikoka, Anaocha and Dunukofia Federal Constituency, said that what he has done is to give his people adequate health services, as according to him, good health remains the most precious gift people can offer to their loved ones.

Honourable Nwankwo, who said that he started the free medical program many years ago before he joined politics, noted that apart from the free medical programme, he gives scholarships as well as support to the farmers through his foundation and made it clear that his constituents will continue to feel the impact of purposeful and quality representation.

The Head of the medical team, Dr. Gemma Henry-Ibeh, said that they are rendering comprehensive health services to the people as they have eye care unit, dental unit, general consulting and a host of other medical services aimed at ensuring the healthy living of the people of the area and beyond.

Two of the beneficiaries, Mr. Emmanuel Iwotor and Mrs. Cordelia Ozobia, thanked Honourable Nwankwo, for sustaining the free medical services over the years and prayed God to continue to bless him and his family.
