The APGA candidiate for Oyi and Ayamulum Fedral Constituency,at the fedral House of Representatives, in next months general elections, Cheife Ekene Enefe, has pledged to ensure strong and quality representation, if elected Chief Enefe made the pledge at Nkwelle-Ezunaka, Oyi Local Government Area during a town hall meeting and flagged off of his campaign ahead of the elections.
The event drew APGA faithful, party officers, community leaders, ward and women groups as well as youths in the area amongst others.
Reaffirming his objective for effective representation and equal distribution of democracy benefits to the people of his constituency, Chief Enefe, said that he flagged off the campaign to
reawaken the minds of the party faithful and assured them of positive and idea-driven goals for his constituents through commitment to the set goals.
According to the APGA House Representatives candidate, youths would be properly empowered through skills acquisition to enable them become self reliant and employers of labour.
In a remark, the Transition Committee Chairman, Oyi Council Area, Engineer Nnamdi Nwadiogbu, maintained that they have critically examined all the aspirants jostling to represent the constituency in the twenty-nineteen General Elections and came to a conclusion that Chief Enefe is the most credible, qualified and reliable to speak for them at the National Assembly.
In their separate speeches, the APGA Chairman, Oyi Council Area, Mr Onochie Mgbechina, the APGA State House of Assembly candidate for Oyi Constituency, Mr. Charles Obimma, other party leaders in the area including Comrade Innocent Okafor, Mr Chinedu Nwude, and Mr Benneth Chinweze, said that APGA is the party for Ndigbo, and called on the people of Oyi to ensure landslide victory in their communities, noting that since the emergence of APGA in the State, vast development and growth have been recorded.
The event also featured solidarity songs for Chief Enefe by the people of Oyi.
