Governor Willie Obiano has asked all APGA members who are aggrieved to join hands to ensure a resounding victory for the party in the coming elections.

The Governor made the call during a Thank You Tour at Saint Augustine Primary School, Umunze, Orumba South Council Area and Orumba North, Council Secretariat, Ajalli.

Governor Obiano said that working together as one family is important, which he said, has been the secret of his success story in all sectors, stressing that staying united will ensure that all candidates emerge victorious, and promised that there is room to accommodate and compensate everyone in the remaining years of his tenure.

The Governor reminded the people of Orumba that they had been without electricity for many years, before his intervention which has translated to constant power supply in the area, among other projects.

While calling on them to protect all State government projects in the area, Governor Obiano urged them to mobilize massive support for all APGA candidates in the coming elections.

The Transition Committee Chairman for Orumba South Local Government Area, Barrister Ray Onyego and his Orumba North counterpart, Hon Ify Obinabo, said that Governor Obiano has consistently demonstrated ingenuity in governance, assuring that the candidates that emerged in
the area are competent, and pledged that they will vote them to support the Governor.

An APGA stakeholder in Orumba and Commissioner for Environment, Architect Mike Okonkwo, said that with the amount of mobilization they have embarked on, Orumba is now synonymous with APGA, and appreciated the Governor for thinking it worthy to return with gratitude.

The Managing Director of Anambra Advertisement and Signage Agency, Chief Jude Emecheta and Chief Titus Anagbogu, reiterated faith in the party which they described as supreme, and expressed optimism that all candidates will emerge victorious, because of its good antecedents.

The Works Commissioner, Engineer Marcel Ifejiofor, highlighted some State government”s infrastructural projects in the areas visited.

Among numerous party faithful and supporters that attended the event, were Professor Charles Soludo, as well as APGA candidates in the area.
